We’re seeking skilled loan processors with a strong understanding of mortgage products and the ability to collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Review Loan Applications: Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan applications and supporting documents.
Coordinate Documentation: Collect, review, and validate borrower documentation, including income, assets, credit, and property information.
Maintain Compliance: Ensure all loans meet regulatory guidelines and lender-specific requirements.
Communicate with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary point of contact for loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, and other parties to ensure a smooth process.
Monitor Pipeline Progress: Track loan files from submission to closing, managing deadlines and ensuring all required conditions are met.
Resolve Issues: Identify and address any discrepancies or missing information promptly to avoid delays.
Stay Market-Informed: Stay updated on current mortgage guidelines, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor or in a similar role.
Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Loan Origination Software (LOS) and other mortgage processing tools.
Strong skills in document management and digital communication platforms.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with accuracy.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and explain loan requirements.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of state and federal mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and TRID compliance.
Problem-Solving Ability:
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues during the loan processing stage.
