Manufacturing Quality Technician

QUALITY TECHNICIAN DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES: Monitoring, measuring, and testing of products (in-process and final inspection using visual and electrical test techniques. Utilizing Print Data and TMC SOP to determine quality standard. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and expectancy of finished product. Calibrating and controlling the monitoring and measuring equipment. Identifying, documenting and segregating (where applicable) non-conforming products Verifying the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Release product for shipment Create and implement inspection criteria Simple Trak (QMS) software Start NCR investigations for further follow up Collecting quality performance data Continual improvement of the Quality Management Systems processes and products. Quality Technician has many responsibilities not limited to the above. Overall leadership and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts and fundamentals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportion to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
