This position works jointly with the VR SEAL Lead to implement training and placement support for VR SEAL trainees through the SEAL Summer Work Experience Program.The SEAL Coordinator reports to the Special Projects Manager. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This is a temporary, full-time position expected to run from March through August (approximately), based on program funding and operational needs. Employment may end earlier or be extended based on business necessity and program requirements.The SEAL Lead Coordinator position is an integral part of our team and will assist us with our mission of accelerating the human condition!Career Team also offers a competitive package including:401k with a generous employer match.medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans.disability insurance.and supplemental insurance.Your Impact on Career TEAM's SuccessHelps coordinate and implement a quality work experience program for SEAL participantsOutreaches VR Seal Referrals to provide program information and encourage engagementCommunicates with SEAL Manager regarding issues needing VR partner engagementActs as program liaison with SEAL trainees and guardians (if applicable) to provide the information needed for successful and compliant trainee Work Experience engagementConducts Work Readiness training with VR customers in compliance with the SEAL PlanAssists in matching SEAL customers with available SEAL worksitesProcesses SEAL participants as required for appropriate enrollment into the ADP systemAssists and guides customers in the completion of enrollment activities and documentation necessary for compliant SEAL enrollmentAssists and guides customers (and guardians, if needed) to complete appropriate enrollment steps for wage payment systemsSchedules and performs New Hire Orientations as neededSchedules and performs Worksite Supervisor Orientations and documents these orientations as requiredCompletion of worksite visit documentation in a timely and complete fashionManages and conducts analysis of work experience activities to ensure implementation of policies and proceduresOversees worksite activities as needed to assure applicable Child Labor Law complianceCoordinate, pick up, and process time sheets in a timely mannerCoordinate/provide payroll distribution (if needed)Coordinate with Career Team administrative staff and SEAL customers/guardians (if applicable) to resolve paycheck and timesheet issues as neededTrack and document outcomes and manage contractual goals related to the SEAL ProgramObtain and review performance evaluations provided by employers and take appropriate actions when neededApproach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindsetOther duties and projects as neededQualificationsTo Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:Minimum: High school diploma or GED requiredPreferred: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) or higher, or at least four (4) years of combined education and relevant experience2+ years of work experience combining elements of training, counseling, case management, or other servicesSubstantial case management experience and the ability to read and interpret policies and proceduresExperience working successfully with individuals with disabilitiesAbility to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base in a culturally sensitive fashionAbility to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them toward achieving goalsPersonal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA Valid Driver's LicensePosition DurationThis is a temporary, full-time position expected to run from March through August (approximately), based on program funding and operational needs.
