The company emphasizes strong quality, governance, and regulatory compliance, along with meaningful adoption of AI and Generative AI to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Sustenance Engineer to support and enhance a portfolio of industrial measurement and control products used in water treatment, chemical processing, industrial automation, and infrastructure applications. The role focuses on sustaining engineering, product reliability, lifecycle management, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement of installed and production-released products.The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support, to ensure product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities Support existing products throughout their lifecycle.Investigate field failures, customer issues, and manufacturing challenges.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Drive product improvements focused on reliability, quality, and cost reduction.Execute engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and maintain technical documentation.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customer teams.Conduct validation testing and support compliance requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.8+ years of experience in Sustaining Engineering, Product Support, or Mechanical Design.Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA/PFMEA, tolerance analysis, and root cause analysis.Experience with CAD tools such as UG NX and SolidWorks.Experience with SAP Engineering Control Center (SAP ECTR) PLM.Background in industrial products, instrumentation, sensors, or process automation preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with flow meters, sensors, instrumentation, or water treatment products. Knowledge of PLM systems and engineering change management.Six Sigma certification is a plus.
