IBM Broker MQ Applications AdministratorOur client is seeking a IBM Broker MQ Applications Administrator to join their enterprise technology team in Central North Dallas. This is a hybrid full-time opportunity supporting mission-critical applications, middleware platforms, cloud environments, automation initiatives, and emerging AI integrations.This role is ideal for a senior-level technical professional with strong middleware administration experience combined with modern cloud, scripting, automation, and AI integration capabilities. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing enterprise application environments while supporting operational stability, security, compliance, and scalability initiatives.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Due to client requirements, this position is limited to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders eligible to obtain the appropriate clearance.ResponsibilitiesAdminister, monitor, troubleshoot, patch, and support enterprise application environments and middleware platformsManage transport and deployment activities across multiple application landscapesSupport middleware technologies including IBM MQ/Broker and related integration toolsAdminister Microsoft Power Platform and Azure environmentsDevelop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Linux shell scriptingSupport AI application development and integration initiativesAdminister enterprise job scheduling tools such as UC4/AutomicMonitor system performance, capacity, and availability to proactively prevent outages and degradationResearch, recommend, and implement new technologies and process improvementsSupport SOX compliance initiatives, segregation of duties controls, and security best practicesConduct backup, recovery, and recoverability testing activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational proceduresMentor and support junior technical staff and team membersParticipate in multiple concurrent projects and collaborate across technical teamsRequired Qualifications8–12+ years of overall IT infrastructure, middleware, or applications administration experienceStrong experience administering middleware technologies such as IBM MQ and/or IBM BrokerExperience with Microsoft Power Platform administrationExperience supporting Azure cloud environmentsStrong scripting and automation experience using:PowerShellPythonLinux/Unix shell scriptingExperience supporting or integrating AI applications and related technologiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or related fieldPreferred ExperienceExperience with enterprise monitoring toolsExperience with Single Sign-On (SSO) tools and security integrationsExperience working within SOX-regulated environmentsCloud architecture and cost optimization knowledgeRelevant certifications in cloud, middleware, or application administration technologiesAdditional InformationFull-time direct hire opportunityHybrid work environmentCentral North Dallas locationCompetitive compensation and benefits packageMust be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder eligible to obtain required clearance
