Managers are direct managers of the junior team members on their account and take responsibility for guiding their growth and ensuring that the team functions most effectively and with minimal errors.You have experience managing a team, delegating tasks and providing growth opportunities for these individuals. A proven track record of managing-up and actively communicating to all team members. Your responsibilities will include:LeadershipDrive overall digital strategy and associated tactics to meet client’s goals, working closely with account lead(s)Established as leader with the client and across all departmental teams, effectively prioritizing and negotiating needs between all partiesEffectively manage and develop junior team members (mentoring, training, etc.)Prioritize and manage quarterly priorities and ad-hoc requests to ensure they are executed on time and to client expectations by entire client teamAbility to problem solve, such as finding solutions for issues not yet attemptedProactively share learnings and best practices across the organizationEstablish oneself as an expert within their functional department and client teamIdentify ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, such as new processesBring new proactive ideas to help meet client goals and grow businessCommunication Ability to consult/educate/negotiate with clients and agency partnersEffectively communicate paid media insights, reporting, trends, and new initiatives to client/agency partners and vendorsAbility to present recommendations/ideas to client and internal teamAbility to effectively merchandise successes to the clientHelp educate client team on latest trends, best practices, technologies, etc.Demonstrates appropriate judgment through proper escalationFunctional Expertise In-depth knowledge of:Paid social optimizations (proactive and reactive)Programmatic optimizations (proactive and reactive)Forecasting and opportunity/gap analysisCampaign management tools, including bid rules/managementAdvanced social platform knowledge across all objectives (awareness, consideration and conversion) META, TikTok, SnapchatMonitoring new social trends and products and evaluating application to clientProgrammatic platform knowledge: DV360, Trade Desk, Amazon DSPResearch tools/competitive analysisBudget/pacing and billingUnderstanding integrated mediaIndustry trendsOur Expectations Of You Deep understanding of social / programmatic performance campaigns and activationHelp strategists and coordinators develop insights and actions (implications) that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client’s goalsResponsible for overseeing campaign management including pacing, reporting, optimizations, etc. Ability to develop cross channel performance strategiesHaving a passion for advertising and establishing yourself as a thought leader within the officeStaying up to date on industry trends and partner updatesProactively bringing new opportunities to the teamProactively bring new ideas for the account for broader business impactEnsure proper communication between various agency capabilities and performance teamDay-to-day lead on client communicationsWhat You’ll Need To SucceedBachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience3+ years of hands-on-keyboard work experience managing paid social / programmatic media accountsBe a proactive self-starterPossess general knowledge of direct marketing principles and strategiesHave polished presentation, communication and listening skillsHave strong organizational skills as applied through an ability to manage multiple projects at onceBe confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data The Outcomes We Will CelebrateStrong client relationships, admiring teammates, more effective plans, strong agency partnerships.Who You’ll Partner WithYou’ll work hand in hand with the digital activation strategists and coordinators on your team, partnering with the strategy/planning teams and reporting into the Associate Director, Digital ActivationBeyond your immediate team, you’ll also work closely with the rest of the Digital Activation team, including Search and Programmatic Video/Display, as well as the wider media and marketing sciences teams to drive your client’s business forward.What You Can ExpectThe chance to grow the agency and yourself. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.Compensation Range$50,000—$95,000 USDThis role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
