Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Virtual Warfare Center is seeking an Entry Level Combat Vulnerability Analyst (Level 1) for our Berkeley, MO location.The analyst will evaluate aircraft designs throughout Boeing's portfolio for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Army. They will conduct customer-focused studies utilizing advanced modeling and simulation tools to address diverse warfighter requirements. Insights gained from this analysis will inform the optimization of Boeing airframe configurations and guide research and development strategies. May also include testing of platforms to evaluate survivability.Position ResponsibilitiesEvaluate airframe designs against customer defined requirementsConvert native CAD (Computer Aided Design) geometry to a vulnerability toolset formatDevelop and maintain new and existing Python data processing librariesLearn about aircraft failure modes and how failures affect a missionLearn Boeing and US Government tools, including Advanced Joint Effectiveness Model (AJEM) and COVART (Computation of Vulnerable Area Tool), to conduct analysisSupport testing of aircraft full scale test articles and subcomponents to assess vulnerabilities to threatsSummarize analysis and test results in internal and external customer reportsCommunicate analysis and test results to Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, Chief Engineers, Program Management, and the customer communityThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
