Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Direct Support Professional based in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities include providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and well-being. Additional tasks may include facilitating skill-building activities, maintaining records, and offering emotional support to clients and families while adhering to organizational guidelines. Qualifications Background in Human Services, with knowledge or experience in assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities.Effective Interpersonal Skills and strong Communication abilities to build relationships and support clients.Capability to provide Training and guidance as needed to help individuals achieve their goals.Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach to care.Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.High School diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in related fields are a plus.
