General Labor- Westlake Chemical Facility

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team at the Westlake Chemical Facility in Calvert City, KY. This position plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance of our cell room operations in an active industrial environment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience and grow within a reputable company. On-the-job training is provided. Responsibilities: Replace faulty membranes, cells and hoses on 12 electrolyzers. Replace old cell gaskets and hose gaskets, which are required during electrolyzer shutdowns. Roll up and store used membranes for analysis. Clean gasket material from cells and, as needed, steam and wash cells for maintenance or shipment to a repair facility in Houston, TX. Remove salt or caustic buildup on cells. Assist with additional labor tasks outside the cell room, including cleanup in other process and bulk handling areas. Operate a forklift for loading/unloading materials and transporting drums to storage (as needed). Qualifications: High School Diploma or Ged required. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to work in a Chemical Facility environment. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
