Microbiologist

Job Title:Microbiologist Pay Rate:$25/HR Duration: 12 months Location:Stamford, CTShift timing - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time - 4 Days a week (Monday to Thursday) - 32 hours per week, depending on the workloadWe are looking for aMicrobiologist. The position will be working as part of themicrobiology laboratoryteam performing standard microbiological tests, such as preservative effectiveness,microbial limits testing ,time-kill kinetic studies , and in vivo testing. This position will support the business with brands such as Dial, Persil, all, and Purex. Your main responsibilities will bepreparinglarge amounts ofmicrobiological media , using anautoclave , handling l ive microorganismsper standard procedures, performing basicmicrobiological testing ,dishwashing , and reporting results. At times, the position may require working independently once training is completed.Qualifications: Preferred experience working in amicrobiology laboratoryor a degree in Microbiology or working on a degree in Microbiology with basic lab courses.Comments/Special Instructions 32 hours per week, depending on the workload
