We are committed to creating a professional environment for players, families, and staff while investing in long-term development both on and off the field.Position OverviewPflugerville FC is seeking an experienced and passionate Girls Program & Goalkeeper Director to lead and grow our girls soccer program while overseeing the club-wide goalkeeper development model.This leadership role is responsible for the overall structure, development, performance, and growth of the girls program (U7–U19), while also designing and implementing a unified goalkeeper curriculum across all age groups.The ideal candidate is a strong leader, educator, recruiter, and culture-builder who can create high-level training environments, mentor coaches, and establish meaningful relationships with players and families.In addition to program leadership responsibilities, this position includes coaching responsibilities within the girls program and direct leadership of goalkeeper training sessions.Key ResponsibilitiesGirls Program Leadership & GrowthLead and oversee all aspects of the girls program (U7–U19)Drive program growth through player recruitment, retention, and team expansionDevelop clear player pathways across Academy and Select programsManage team structures and player placement processesOversee tryouts, roster planning, and team formationEnsure alignment with club methodology, curriculum, and principles of playSupport the long-term strategic growth of the girls programGoalkeeper Program LeadershipDesign and implement a club-wide goalkeeper curriculumLead weekly goalkeeper training sessions across age groupsRecruit, mentor, and support goalkeeper coachesIntegrate goalkeeper development into team environmentsProvide individualized development feedback and progression plansCoaching ResponsibilitiesServe as Head Coach for two teams within the girls programPlan and deliver high-quality training sessionsLead game-day coaching and player developmentComplete all coaching responsibilities including:Parent communicationPlayer evaluationsDepth chartsSession planning and implementationPlayer Development & EvaluationLead player evaluations and placement decisionsIdentify top-performing players for advanced development opportunitiesSupport club pathways including club pass and Top Performers programsEnsure players are placed in the appropriate developmental environmentEvents & Community EngagementThe Director will lead four annual events focused on recruitment, development, and community engagement:2 Fall events2 Spring eventsExamples include:Talent Identification SessionsGoalkeeper ClinicsCommunity Soccer EventsMiddle School Outreach & RecruitmentPlayer Development ClinicsCommunication & Parent EngagementServe as the primary contact for girls program familiesLead parent meetings and pathway presentationsMaintain professional and timely communication with families and staffSupport club-wide communication standards and cultureOperations & CollaborationCollaborate closely with the Technical Director and leadership staffAssist with scheduling, rostering, and league placement decisionsSupport registration, tryouts, and seasonal planningEnsure compliance with club and league requirementsQualificationsUSSF B License minimum (A License preferred) or equivalentGoalkeeper coaching experience requiredExperience leading or managing a youth soccer programStrong understanding of player development pathwaysProven leadership and staff management experienceExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work evenings and weekends as required by the soccer calendarKey AttributesStrong leadership presence on and off the fieldGrowth-minded with a passion for building programsPlayer-centered with a long-term development philosophyStrong relationship-builder and recruiterHighly organized and detail-orientedCollaborative, proactive, and solution-drivenSuccess in This Role Looks LikeContinued growth of the girls program across all age groupsStrong player retention and family satisfactionHigh-quality coaching environments aligned with club methodologyA structured and impactful goalkeeper development programClear pathways for player progressionPositive collaboration with staff and club leadershipWork AuthorizationApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
