Material Handler I - Shipping 2nd ShiftJob Category: PRODUCTION

Hours: 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm Monday-Friday
Wage: $22.00 to $26.00
Facilitates the efficient flow of raw material and finished product throughout the entire manufacturing/warehouse process.
Responsibilities:
Moves materials throughout the facility with a forklift, truck, or similar equipment manual or motorized.
Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming materials and checks contents against bills of lading and packing list. Reports shortages and overages of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Loads and unloads delivery vehicles with finished products, raw materials and other items. Inspect incoming and outgoing product for broken seals and damage.
Delivers raw materials (plastic, boxes, and pallets) to designated racking and or/areas.
Packs and wraps boxes or other materials for shipment and attaches appropriate documentation.
Organizes storage areas and maintains proper housekeeping standards.
Ensures all warehouse product is secure.
Practices FIFO while using the scanning tools provided to scan all material and finished goods
Locks out trucks according for safety using the tools provided
Operate IQMS shipping and prepares shipping paperwork (ex. BOL, Manifest, Fedex, UPS)
Desired Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills required.
Computer skills preferred.
