RF Test Dev Lead Engineer

• Strong experience of core RF principles across 40-75 GHz (high power, Defense oriented bands)
• Demonstrated experience of test strategies for RF devices
• Primary responsibilities related to systems level architecture (hardware and software), resulting circuit design, and overall product integration
• Ability to lead the development of production test solutions and create test development proposals based on production test requirements
• Familiarity with Defense and regulatory standards associated with high frequency devices; must show understanding of Mil Spec/ EMC environmental standards
• Demonstrated understanding of RF measurements including S parameters, safety protocols
• Demonstrable significant experience with designing and deploying test equiment
• Electrical Engineering background or similar; 7 to 10 years of related experience
• Strong aptitude in technical writing, operating on engineering teams, acting as RF SME including coaching and leading other disciplines
• Ability to create financial plans for your projects, align them internally with your line of management and other functions and externally if needed.

*Role Details*

• Geographic Base Location. Minneapolis area is highly preferred. This is our current US Engineering Center of Excellence and where the RF capital equipment is located.
• Location and/or willingness to relocate will significantly impact conversion potential, and will impact volume of travel during the project contract.
• Team Size Maple Grove Engineering COE is 14 personnel.
• Travel Expectation 1-3 wks/mo to Maple Grove if not Minneapolis based; New Market Ontario expected quarterly
