Job DescriptionOverviewThe Warehouse Packager Lead supports and oversees daily packaging operations for both internal and third-party cannabis products. This role combines hands-on packaging work with workflow coordination, compliance oversight, and quality control. The Lead helps guide team members, ensures accurate Metrc activity, and maintains high standards for efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Warehouse Packager Lead is responsible for the following: Organizing and prioritizing daily packaging tasks and supporting production goalsTraining and guiding packaging staff on procedures, compliance expectations, and quality standardsReviewing intake sheets, labeling details, and Metrc data for accuracy and resolving discrepanciesOverseeing processing of third-party and internal products, including breakdown, re-packaging, and proper Metrc taggingPerforming quality checks to confirm correct counts, proper labeling, product condition, and overall complianceHandling supplemental or rush requests and assisting hands-on with packaging as neededCommunicating workflow updates, supply needs, and operational issues to managementMaintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work area and ensuring proper storage of tags, labels, materials, and cannabis productsAssisting with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assignedQualifications Packaging or manufacturing experience required; cannabis experience preferredPrior experience in a lead, trainer, or team support role is helpfulStrong computer skills; Metrc experience strongly preferredAbility to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with accuracyValid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (or ability to obtain before starting)Strong communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with a teamComfort working in a warehouse environment and handling cannabis productsAvailability to work weekends and adapt to changing prioritiesCompetenciesLeadership and accountability Strong attention to detailIntegrity and compliance focusAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentResults-oriented approachWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a warehouse setting with moderate to loud noise and varying temperatures.
