Payroll & HRIS Manager

NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Manager to join our team at a pivotal point in our company’s growth. This is a unique opportunity to come in at the ground level and help build, shape, and scale our HR systems and payroll operations as we establish our future state organization.This role will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our payroll & HRIS processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the business. The position reports directly to the VP of Human Resources and will serve as a key partner in building a best-in-class HR infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end to end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution for all employeesOversee HRIS strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimizationPartner with HR and Finance to ensure seamless integration of systems, processes, and reportingEstablish and maintain payroll controls, audits, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsServe as the primary administrator for HRIS platforms, including system configuration, data integrity, and reportingDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll and HRIS processesSupport benefits administration, deductions, and related system integrationsProvide reporting and analytics to support business and leadership decision-makingAssist in vendor management and evaluation of HR technology solutionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experienceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of payroll management experience requiredHands-on experience with HRIS systems; ADP experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience supporting multi-site or manufacturing environments preferredProven ability to build processes and systems in a fast-paced, evolving environmentHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join NABRICO Marine Products?Opportunity to build from the ground up and make a lasting impactHigh visibility role with direct access to senior leadershipBe part of a team shaping the future of the organizationCollaborative, performance-driven culture focused on execution and result
