Logistics Lead

The Logistics Lead will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Oshkosh logistics system. Lead for logistics routing, consolidating freight and providing system metrics are main responsibilities of this role to support Oshkosh Corporation's requirements. The Logistics Lead will review carrier base, assess current business needs and capabilities, and lead initiatives to find and support capacity requirements. This role will be responsible for global transportation market condition data gathering and information dissemination to logistics team members.
Your Impact

Assess compliance and conformance by service providers; lead discussions with providers on action plans and overall performance.
Assess market for key capacity partners; develop relationships by educating potential new partners on Oshkosh value as a customer.
Lead Long-Term Agreements negotiations with carrier partners.
Lead development of requirements, bid strategy, process improvements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of complex, large scale bid packages.
Integral knowledge of the Oshkosh Logistics freight system and how it works.
Deep understanding of logistics for all modes and high level understanding of global transportation market.
On an occasional basis support shipment execution of both inbound or outbound (including expedites).
Coach and mentor other logistics team members and share logistics and industries expertise.
Champion continuous improvements events and lead implementation of changes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with six (6) or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a relative area.
OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
Occasional travel required; typically less than 25%.
Working Conditions
This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:
$92,600.00 - $154,400.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
