Targeted Start:9/24/2012Travel Required:Not requiredOverview:F5 Big-IP LTM engineer needed for a new F5 implementation3 MonthsT&E Provided:NoResponsibilities:Tasks to be performed during the 3-month timeframe may include:- Implement a pair of F5 BIG-IP devices in the Arizona datacenter.- Provide documentation as part of the installation.- Provide knowledge transfer as part of the Arizona implementation.- Remotely upgrade existing F5 LTM devices to 11.2 HF1.- Implement recommended changes and audit those changes.- Set up additional Monitoring and Alerting for the 8 pairs of F5 LTM devices.- OIDs.- TMM and Memory.- CPU.- SSL TPS.- Connections Per Second.- Few others not yet identified.- Day to day assistance with the management of the F5 LTM devices.Desired ExperienceExperience (typically gained from 2-3 years) working with:- Big-IP LTM experience required.- Strong application firewall background.- SOC Operational tasks; ticketing workflow.Experience with all common networking concepts including, but not limited to:- The OSI model.- TCP/UDP ports and protocols.- The OSI model.- Layer 2 switching concepts.- Understanding of application security concepts, specifically with regards to web application security.- Excellent follow up skills and internal customer communications.- Excellent problem solving background.Desired Certifications:- General security certifications (CISSP et al) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
