Experienced Automotive Technician ( 5 yrs exp. req )

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (EXPERIENCED, AT LEAST 5 YEARS) Our shop services ONLY Asian Import vehicles that are 20 years old and newer, and we are looking only for technicians proficient with those models. We are looking for an experienced full-time Automotive Technician who is self-motivated and has strong diagnostic and communication skills, honesty, and punctuality. You'll need to have a full tool set, however we have an extensive supply of shared shop equipment. We offer VERY competitive pay, starting at $33/ hour and up, depending on experience. We offer paid vacation and standard paid holiday leave. Working hours for technicians are Monday-Friday from 8-5. We do provide a sign-on bonus, with the amount starting at $1500 and may be higher, depending on experience. We are a drug-free work environment, and all applicants MUST have a valid driver's license. We have a robust and extensive customer-base, and our books are typically full at least 1 week out at any given time. We offer our Automotive Technicians space and autonomy and have no sales quotas and do not pressure our Automotive Technicians to provide erroneous repair recommendations. Our shop is known for exemplary honesty and respect to our customers, and we always strive to provide top-level customer service. We look to foster long-lasting relationships with our customers as well as with our staff, and offer a low-key (but busy) work environment. Ger-Brock and Company has been in business for over 50 years, and is privately owned and operated. We are a small shop, consisting of one shop manager/ service writer and two technicians, looking to add a third member to our team. The tech you'll be replacing has been here for nearly 10 years, and our turnover rate is very low. We are a tight-knit group and we truly emphasize working to live rather than living to work.
