Our client is a leading personal care contract manufacturer located in Middletown, NJ. They are growing rapidly and are looking to add new team members to their analytical department!Job Title: QC Lab TechnicianPay rate: $26/hour (.50/hr. differential for 2nd shift)Shifts available:M- F, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)M- F, 3:15PM - 11:30PM (occasional Saturdays as needed) Location: Middletown, NJJob type: Contract- hireJob SummaryThe QC Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of laboratory testing and analysis. This role performs both qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished products, supports quality control processes, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw materials and finished productsExecute analytical methods in accordance with established proceduresCalibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentationMaintain chemical standards and ensure proper inventory controlFollow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements (including GMP)Collect and analyze data to support process improvementsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine laboratory issues; escalate when necessaryMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of all laboratory activitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)1-3 years of analytical chemistry experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentBench chemistry/color matching experience requiredKnowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferredCosmetics industry experience strongly preferredDemonstrates honesty, consistency, and accountabilityMaintains confidentiality and builds trust with othersCommunicates in a clear, credible, and transparent mannerWe strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
