Production Operator - Extractor

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operator to work as an Extractor Operator. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Extractor Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently extracting modules while maintaining a consistent flow of production. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Demonstrate full knowledge of extractor operations, including use of the HMI operator panel
Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the extractor pit area
Safely and accurately extract modules using the overhead crane
Execute air procedures to manually remove mandrels from modules
Monitor walking beams to ensure proper movement and successful mandrel transfer
Report all equipment-related issues promptly to the Production Supervisor
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials required to perform job duties
Support the training and cross-training of production team members
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements by maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to all company policies, as well as Provincial and Federal regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior machine operation experience preferred
Overhead Crane Certification is required (crane extraction)
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, equipment, and tools.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and occasional kneeling or crouching, as required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safely in the assigned work environment.

Interaction with heavy machinery, moving equipment and limited movement of chemicals within the production area.
