Sales Associate

Position Summary: The Loeffler Randall Retail Sales Associate will embody a positive customer centric attitude and focus on creating lasting relationships with each guest in store. They will provide an energetic environment around the product and create thoughtful experiences for anyone who enters the store. This role will act as a brand ambassador that reflects the companys values, aesthetics, and entrepreneurial environment.Essential Functions:Greet and engage with each customerFacilitate an energized pace and service-oriented mindsetProvide courteous, helpful, and efficient service to customers in all areas of the store, including the sales floor and fitting areaSpeak effectively to product knowledge, including how items fit, material information, sustainability, and other key features to assist customers in their purchasing decisionsShare brand and company story, including charity partners, sustainability efforts, and other areas important to our business to engage and educate customersMaintain productive customer relationships and provide an approachable, inspiring and personalized shopping experienceEngage with the local community and partake in store events and outreach opportunitiesParticipate in special in-store eventsUtilize slow periods by connecting with clientele on new product, sales, and follow up on their recent purchasesUphold all store policies and proceduresWrite a thorough e-mail recap of sales, traffic, and customer connections when closing the storeManage the opening and closing store checklistField and communicate all customer service needs that and train associates on situational interactionsParticipate in regular inventory counts and communicate and store shrinkageUphold the high standard of organization and cleanliness on the sales floor, back stock area, fitting room, and restroomsMaintain integrity of all visual display presentationsSupport Retail Management in projects as neededUtilize the website and team to stay up to date with LR product launches, company news and community outreachAdhere to the dress code and inspire the retail team by bringing your personal style to the role and dressing in LR inspired looksEducation and Experience:Minimum high school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of retail experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in a retail environment, understanding customer service standards, including providing courteous, helpful, and efficient serviceAwareness of effective sales strategies and techniques for engaging customers and driving salesStrong verbal communication skills for greeting customers, sharing product knowledge, and conveying the brand storyAbility to engage and connect with customers, providing an inspiring and personalized shopping experienceAbility to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and facilitate an energized pace in the storeAbility to stay informed and up to date with product launches, company news, and community outreach effortsAbility to represent the brand in a positive and professional manner, both in-store and during community outreach activitiesPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
