Working under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher’s mission is to support the culinary team by overseeing all aspects of cleaning and sanitation for food service equipment. Job responsibilities include: Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness by properly washing, and sorting soiled dishes, sweeping and mopping as appropriate. Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Properly washes, stacks, and stores, all plates, glasses, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Maintains orderly trash levels throughout shift, removing full trashcans and boxes. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized. Assists in timely storing of food deliveries. Assists in food prep and other duties as requested by the Executive Chef. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Janitorial experience preferred. Self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to stand or walk for an extended period of time; working in varying temperatures. Ability to comply with all food safety practices. Strong time management and problem solving skills. Prior experience and current food handler’s card preferred but not required.
