We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities and health management.DutiesAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility supportMonitor and observe patients for any changes in condition, reporting findings to healthcare professionalsAdminister medications following care plans and HIPAA regulationsPrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumptionProvide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environmentSupport with housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe, sanitary living spaceOperate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and monitor vital signs as requiredAssist with mobility using assistive devices like wheelchairs or Hoyer lifts, ensuring safety during transfersFollow prescribed care plans meticulously, documenting patient progress and observations accuratelySupport residents with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities through tailored approachesSkillsProven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environmentsKnowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or memory care techniquesCertifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirableFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacyAbility to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with disabilities or developmental challengesStrong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing health changesPhysical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer liftsExcellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teamsExperience working with people with autism or other special needs is a plusAbility to follow detailed care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services providedThis role is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing respectful, attentive support that promotes independence and dignity.
