As a core member of Sabin’s AmeriCorps team, you will work directly with residents to strengthen community connections, improve communication, and support sustainability initiatives. This resident-facing role focuses on engagement, education, and resource coordination to help foster a thriving and connected community.Further help on this page can be found by clicking here .Member Duties : Resident Engagement & Communication: Serve as a liaison between residents and Sabin staff. Share community resources and Sabin updates to residents through various methods. Provide resident communication efforts regarding updates relocation/development during new construction. Education & Sustainability: Work alongside the Energy Management Member to educate residents on energy efficiency and sustainable living practices. Community Engagement: Lead and support Furnish-A-Change and Pass-It-On days. Assist with the implementation of The Resilience Collective, including a monthly food pantry, bi-annual clothing drives, financial wellness workshops, and emergency preparedness training. Move-In & Transition Support: Conduct outreach efforts to contact all new move-ins during their first month of tenancy.
