The unit cares for low-acuity patients who need short-term monitoring and additional evaluation before determining whether inpatient admission is required. This role is an excellent fit for nurses with experience in Telemetry, Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, ICU/CCU, ambulatory care, or those who are comfortable with basic phlebotomy skills.
