Mechanical Division Manager
Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical commercial projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Mechanical Project Manager will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Ability to manage and motivate teams, including mechanical foreman and other project personnelDevelop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resourcesCoordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and specificationsIdentify and manage project risks, including potential delays and budget overrunAssign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide support and guidance. Conduct regular team meetings and project reviewsPrepare detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place. Approve and process invoices, change orders, and purchase orders. Identify and resolve technical and operational issues as they arise. Implement corrective actions to address any project deviations or performance gaps. Facilitate problem-solving sessions with team members and stakeholders. Qualifications And Education RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical (HVAC) project managementEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesBasic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety practicesAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environmentFlexible hours may be required to accommodate project schedules and deadlinesWork EnvironmentTravel to project job sites located in Jacksonville and surrounding areasAbility to work in both an office setting and field settingsBasic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety practicesAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environmentFlexible hours may be required to accommodate project schedules and deadlines
