Accounting Recruiter - CPA & Public Accounting Specialties The Accounting Recruiter plays a key role in identifying, attracting, and placing accounting and finance professionals across public accounting firms and corporate finance teams nationwide. As an Accounting Recruiter, you will recruit CPAs, tax professionals, audit professionals, and corporate accounting talent while building long‑term relationships with candidates and clients. This is a consultative recruiting role focused on delivering exceptional talent and creating a strong candidate experience.Key Responsibilities - Accounting RecruiterRecruit accounting and finance professionals including Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, Tax and Audit Professionals, Managers, Controllers, Directors, and CFOs.Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for technical skills, career goals, and cultural fit.Build and maintain pipelines of accounting and finance talent through networking, referrals, social media, and direct sourcing.Partner with clients and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, market conditions, and candidate availability.Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, candidate presentation, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.Develop relationships with CPA firms, accounting professionals, and finance leaders in assigned markets.Provide market intelligence on compensation trends, talent availability, and hiring best practices.Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the ATS and CRM.Meet established recruiting activity, placement, and revenue goals as an Accounting Recruiter.Qualifications - Accounting Recruiter3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in accounting, finance, public accounting, or professional services.Proven success sourcing and placing accounting and finance professionals.Understanding of public accounting structures, CPA career paths, tax and audit functions, and corporate accounting roles.Strong interviewing, relationship‑building, and consultative communication skills.Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and sourcing tools.Ability to manage multiple searches in a fast‑paced environment.Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management skills.Preferred Qualifications - Accounting RecruiterExperience in staffing, executive search, or professional services recruiting.Knowledge of CPA firm operations and accounting career progression.Experience recruiting for both direct hire and contract roles.What We OfferFully remote work environment.Access to recruiting technology, sourcing tools, and ongoing training.Collaborative team environment focused on growth and development.
