Senior Software Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL) – Entertainment / Media TechWe’re partnering with a leading media & entertainment technology team that builds innovative solutions supporting episodic television production across multiple studios and platforms.This team is focused on solving real business problems that improve data visibility, stream lines operations, and enables smarter decision making at scale.What You’ll Be DoingDesign and build backend solutions using Oracle PL/SQLTranslate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutionsDevelop and optimize stored procedures, packages, and database logicBuild and maintain reports (Jasper Reports or similar)Work on data interfaces, integrations, and data conversionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issuesPerform performance tuning and code optimizationCollaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teamsParticipate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremoniesWhat We’re Looking For10+ years of software development experienceDeep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (backend-heavy role)Strong experience with Jasper Reports or similar reporting toolsProven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problemsExperience working with large-scale data models (bonus if media/entertainment-related)Strong communication skills—able to work across technical and business teamsComfortable using AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to boost productivityExperience in Agile/Scrum environmentsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldWhy This Role?Work on high-impact systems used across major studiosBe part of a team driving innovation in media production technologySolve complex data and backend challenges at scaleLong-term opportunity with a collaborative, forward-thinking team
