Experience:ExperiencedSecurity Clearance Level:Public Trust (NACI)Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage a large-scale program encompassing multiple projects with a total lifecycle budgetPlan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out small- and large-scale programs in support of an agency’s missionProvide oversight of the service delivery teams and ensure that they fulfill all the contractual requirements specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)Ensure all contractually required deliverables are prepared and undergo quality assurance reviews ahead of a timely submissionDevelop the master integrated plan that combines all the individual project plans the service delivery teams are responsible for executingEnsure the plans are communicated and agreed to with the customer and that the delivery teams have the staff and resources necessary to executeCoordinate with corporate Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure delivery teams are utilizing the standard processes, forms, templates for internal support requests, deliverables required at the top contract level, Task Order (TO) financial tracking and forecasting, and corporate progress and status reportingManage all direct labor costs associated with the contract and ensure the incurred costs remain within budgetEnsure resources assigned to the contract have the technical abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of their rolesEnsure all program-related deliverables such as Reports, Design Documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc., required of the contract are prepared in advance of the contractually specified due dates, to allow enough time for a quality review prior to delivery to the customerCommunicate directly with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with the quality of the services the delivery team is provided. Should the customer be dissatisfied, the Program Manager informs the corporate leadership and assists in the development of actional plans to resolve current issues and mitigate future onesRequired Skills and ExperienceMust have outstanding leadership, management and communication skillsMust have a “Take Charge and Lead” leadership styleAbility to effectively work with multiple stakeholders who may have competing prioritiesPrior federal government Program Management experienceProfessional CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationYears of Professional ExperienceEight (8) years of professional experienceDesired experiencePrevious experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) highly preferredFormal EducationMaster’s DegreeCitizenship RequirementU.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunitySecurity Clearance RequirementsMust possess or qualify for a Public Trust (NACI)CRITICAL NOTES: SSG will not make assumptions regarding your qualifications.
