You work closely with the Primer Leader (the lead teacher) to support students academically, emotionally, and socially throughout the school day.This is not a passive assistant role. You are an active participant in instruction, culture, and operations — helping maintain routines, supporting small-group learning, observing student needs, and ensuring the classroom runs smoothly. You model Primer’s “Take Kids Seriously” culture through positive interactions, calm presence, and consistent follow-through.This work requires reliability, communication, flexibility, and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed. You are a key member of the campus team and a daily partner to your Primer Leader.ResponsibilitiesSupport a safe, predictable classroom cultureBuild positive relationships with studentsLead and support literacy and math small group instructionPrepare materials and help run Pursuits.
