A critical care nursing opportunity requires an experienced Registered Nurse with ICU expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a contract position located in Wauchula, FL. Nurses in this role will appreciate the convenience of floating between these nearby locations, each within a 30-minute drive, and the supportive healthcare facilities serving this region.Key Qualifications:Valid RN license; Florida or Compact licensure acceptedMinimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience; 5 years preferredCertifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale certificationPrevious travel nursing experience strongly preferredExperience with EPIC EMR systemWillingness to float between Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula locations as neededResponsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU settingParticipate in pre-shift huddles and collaborate with the healthcare teamFloat between assigned locations with at least 90 minutes' notice when requiredAdhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and documentation standardsMaintain professional appearance with navy blue scrub attireSchedule and Assignment Details:Contract length: 13 weeksWork 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per weekWeekend availability requiredNo on-call dutiesFloating required as per skill set and facility needsThis contract nursing role offers the chance to make a significant impact in critical care with stable scheduling in a welcoming Florida community.
