Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Professional Dancer based in Edison, NJ, with both in-person and remote work opportunities. The Professional Dancer will perform in various productions, contribute to the development and execution of choreography, and collaborate with directors and other performers to bring performances to life. Responsibilities also include participating in rehearsals, understanding musical compositions, and providing dance instruction as needed. Qualifications Expertise in Dance, including various styles such as Ballet. Familiarity with other dance forms is a plus.Experience in Choreography and the ability to create original routines or adapt existing pieces.Proficiency in Dance Instruction, with strong communication and teaching skills.Understanding of Music and the ability to synchronize movement to rhythm and melodies.Physical fitness, endurance, and a strong sense of timing and spatial awareness.Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in dynamic environments.Prior performance or teaching experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
