American Traveler is seeking a travel Adult Echocardiography for a travel job in Janesville, Wisconsin.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Adult EchocardiographyDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 05/18/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, rotatingEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Rotating, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: May 18, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Echo Technologist with RCS or RDCS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting, performing adult echocardiographic exams including stress and TEE.DetailsInpatient hospital setting performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studiesPrimary focus on adult echocardiography with potential exposure to some pediatric casesProcedures include M-mode, 2D/3D Doppler, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echocardiographyShift is Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PMOn-call weekend rotation approximately every 7 weeksRequirementsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited program required; education verification required for considerationCurrent BLS certification requiredRCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) requiredActive state license required if applicableExperience performing adult Echo, Stress Echo, and TEE requiredAbility to recognize arrhythmias and EKG abnormalities (e.g., acute MI, complete heart block, wide QRS, tachycardia)Additional InformationPerform and interpret echocardiographic examinations using clinical judgment to determine the need for additional testing protocolsMeasure per ASE standards and provide technical comments of diagnostic findings to the physician upon completion of each studyAssess electrocardiographic and echocardiography recording quality, correcting deficiencies when possible and documenting when notRespond appropriately in emergency situations and notify physicians of abnormal EKG findingsDocument complete patient history, procedural information, and charges in the medical record with 98% accuracyEducate patients and families about procedures and document the process in the patient recordResponsible for maintaining equipment and workspace in proper working condition and reporting equipment issues to managementAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-704411.
