About the CompanyA fast-growing real estate debt platform specializing in hospitability lending is looking for a Capital Markets Associate/Director to join a growing team.About the RoleThis role sits at the intersection of capital markets execution and relationship management, supporting the structuring, reporting, and distribution of complex commercial loan portfolios while directly interfacing with banking and institutional partners.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end involvement with debt capital markets financing relationshipsManage reporting and loan covenant requirements for each of our capital markets transactionsDirect involvement in capital markets initiatives such as CLOs, securitizations, repurchase agreements, and credit facilitiesHelp improve general operational efficiency by collecting, managing and organizing documents such as 3rd party reports (appraisals etc.), loan documents, creating spreadsheets and checklists to coordinate with various internal teamsExposure to various complex financial models to calculate investment returns and manage debt covenants, this role will be responsible for updating and maintaining modelsCoordination with various internal departments to collect and manage data at regular intervals (ex. Monthly or quarterly reports)Updating presentations for external investorsQualifications4-6 Years of experience in capital markets, commercial real estate, or within loan origination or syndications team at a bankOn site requirement Mon-Thurs, WFH FridayRequired SkillsExperience originating, maintaining, and expanding relationships with:Borrowers / sponsorsBanks, debt funds, and capital providersInternal investment / credit teamsStrong financial modeling skills (Excel) and ability to analyze real estate fundamentals, capital stacks, and valuation driverAbility to act as a trusted advisor and tailor financing solutions to client goalsComfortable leading client calls, presentations, and negotiationsAble to review complicated legal documentsDemonstrated experience supporting or executing complex commercial real estate debt transactions, including underwriting, financial modeling, and loan syndicationStrong understanding of capital markets, credit risk, and deal structuring within a lending or advisory environmentStrong understanding of investment concepts, including returns, capital structures, and risk assessment (not just underwriting mechanics)Preferred SkillsBackground in hospitality lending or specialty finance (relevant to Access Point Financial)Exposure to capital raising / investor relationsCertifications such as CFA, CPA, or formal credit trainingPay range and compensation packageCompensation range: $130k-150k - not including bonusEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
