The team takes pride in doing the job right and standing firmly behind every floor installed.Role Description The Recruiting & Talent Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Lombard, IL. This intern will support the recruitment lifecycle by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with communication throughout the hiring process. The role will help coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers, maintain applicant tracking and hiring records, and ensure a professional and timely candidate experience. The intern will assist with onboarding tasks such as preparing training materials, organizing orientation sessions, and gathering required documentation. Day-to-day work will also include supporting HR administration, contributing to employer branding initiatives, and collaborating with the team to improve recruiting and training processes.QualificationsRecruiting and Hiring skills, including sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, and supporting selection decisions.Interviewing and Communication skills to engage candidates professionally, ask clear questions, and provide timely updates.Training and onboarding support skills, including organizing materials, coordinating sessions, and helping new team members ramp up.Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfort working on-site in Lombard, IL, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a professional, inclusive approach to all candidates.Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets); experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus.Interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related field; current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant degree program is preferred but not required.
