Engineer\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global leader in lithium-ion battery manufacturing\nand is seeking for Engineer.\n\n\nThe Production Engineer I will support the distribution of resources in\naccordance with the production/shipment plan, ensure the safety of the\nworkplace, perform production activities by optimizing the process/equipment,\nand manage/improve the production related results (e.g., Yield, Overall\nEquipment Efficiency (OEE), Quantity, etc.)\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot the machines on the\nproduction floor to ensure highest yield and OEE\n• Understand quality issues, review non-conformance reports (NCRs), analyze\nquality issues and provide corrective actions\n• Improve production processes by creating various SOPs and train operators to\nensure understanding and correct implementation to floor\n• Check production progress management in accordance with the production plan\n• Feedback to production management department when problems related to\nproduction progress occur\n• Inventory management (classification of good products/pending inventory)\n• Non-conformance report handling and improvement\n• Yield management\n• Conduct internal and customer audits\n• Compliance with health/safety/environmental/fire regulations\n• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:\n• Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain\n• Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container\n• Perform other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant\nexperience\n \nExperience:\n• 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing production related position or\nequivalent, relevant experience\n \nSkills:\n• Comfortable working independently and with others\n• Results-oriented and perseverant\n• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills\n• Project and process management skills\n• Strong attention to detail\n• Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve\n• Six Sigma knowledge\n• Battery production related knowledge\n• MS Office Suite\n
