Come join us for the ride!Role overviewCarGurus is seeking summer Product Manager Interns to join our Consumer Product teams. We are hiring for two distinct teams: Consumer Incubator Squad: Our mission is to eliminate the most stressful parts of the car buying process using the latest technology. You will be joining at a pivotal transition point as we move from a backend-heavy infrastructure phase to a full-scale external launch. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where we "fail fast," iterate on LLM prompts in real-time, and build the future of car shopping from the ground up, we want you on the team.Search and Discovery Squad: Our mission is to help millions of shoppers to effortlessly find the right car by connecting them with the most relevant vehicles, insights, and tools throughout their journey. We leverage data and consumer insights to build features that improve how, where, and what users can search.These are full-time, paid, Summer 2026 Intern positions. Only students currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program will be considered. Must be eligible to work 40 hours a week from June 2026 – August 2026. We are a hybrid environment and employees should anticipate working from our Boston, MA offices 60% of the time, or approximately 3 days per week.What you'll doCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to support product development and delivery.Assist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and data to inform product decisions.Participate in defining product requirements, writing user stories, and prioritizing features.Support the team in tracking product performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.Contribute to product launches and go-to-market activities by preparing documentation and communications.Conduct competitive analysis to help refine product positioning and strategy.Present findings, ideas, and progress to stakeholders during meetings or reviews.Who you areCurrently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in understanding user needs.A passion for solving customer problems and improving user experiences.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Self-motivated, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.Prior internship or project experience is preferred but not required.The displayed range represents the expected hourly rate for this position.Working at CarGurusOur career development and corporate giving programs, as well as our employee resource groups (ERGs) and communities, help people build connections while making an impact in personally meaningful ways. CarGurus' office is located at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA. We offer a flexible hybrid model with expectations for Gurus to come into the office approximately 3 days per week. Interns can choose their in-office days based on personal preference and manager guidance in order to maximize their collaboration time with their team.Does CarGurus provide commuting benefits for interns?
