We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and support the financial performance of the Company and its affiliates.This position is a hands-on leadership role that is responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting, ability to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, and provide insight to support strategic decisions. This position will work directly with upper management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all accounting functions, including AP, AR, and payrollOversee job costing, AIA billing, subcontract tracking, and WIP reportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packets for the Company and its affiliatesMonitor and manage weekly cash flowSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisEnsure compliance with federal and state tax filings (1099s, sales and use tax, etc.)Coordinate with external accountants and advisorsOversee insurance programs, including renewals and certificates of insuranceServe as a key contact for vendors, customers, IT providers, and insurance carriersDevelop and improve accounting processes and internal controlsLead, mentor, and develop accounting staffEducation and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, requiredActive CPA, preferredMinimum of 5 years of extensive accounting experienceConstruction accounting experience including job costing, preparation of WIP schedules, preferredPublic accounting experience, preferredExperience managing and supervising other accounting staffBenefitsCompetitive Salary based on experience level and qualificationsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(K) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time OffHealth, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability InsuranceHealth Savings Account and Flexible Spending AccountAnnual BonusApply TodayIf you're a driven accounting professional ready to take ownership of a key leadership role, we encourage you to apply.
