Physical Therapist Assistant - Physical TherapySchedule: Days M-F, 8-hour days (times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with DOR)Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements: - 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience - Long-term care or rehabilitation experience - Active Physical Therapist Assistant licenseRoles & Responsibilities: - Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. - Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. - Administer various rehabilitation procedures per regulatory and clinical requirements, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. - Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly. - Document all necessary information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy. - Participate in required meetings and training sessions related to patient care and rehabilitation services.Compliance / Notes: - Must adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts during professional practice. - Active state licensure is required when applicable.
