You are the hound-dog of your assigned account group—proactively unearthing important information about your client’s business and marketplace and working to make sure that your teammates are kept “in the know.” You are the co-pilot, there at every twist and turn— helping your account team stay on track and performing at the highest level. Because, at the end of the day, you have one goal in mind—to make sure your client is a raving fan! The master multi-tasker, you keep a well-oiled machine running—while constantly looking for new fuel for the tank. Your team trusts in you and your clients know you are working hard on their behalf. You are smart, proactive, and your energy and tenacity spills out into the hallways.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:The AD has four areas of responsibility as may be assigned on specific projects and programs.1. Planning, analyzing and evaluating information and agency output relevant to assigned client projects and needs. This may include the following:Collecting and helping to review marketplace data relative to client needsHelping to develop workable budgets and timelines.Participating in preparation of marketing strategies and actions for the client.Writing & kicking off creative briefsSocial Media Monitoring (client & competitive)Reporting on integrated campaignsAssisting in the development of monthly client production shoots & content planning2. Coordinating agency activities necessary to meet the needs of assigned projects. This may include the following:Processing assigned work requests in efficient, timely manner.Assisting in monitoring budget, research and similar items as assigned.Maintaining communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure that assigned work is handled in a positive, timely and efficient manner.Monitoring and implementing social posts3. Acts as a link between clients and the advertising agency, usually reporting to an account director and responsible for the day-to-day running of their clients' marketing communications initiatives:Working closely with clientsManaging administrative and organizational workEnsuring deliverables are on time and on budgetStays current regarding changes in his/her field of workIs a student of the industry and often shares relevant content and information with team members4. Serves as account team point-person, often requiring “grace under pressure,” serving as agency anchor in the throws of performance:Clear communicationsInformed directionProactive salesmanship of agency ideasBarometers of Performance The AD is evaluated on the efficiency of workflow, the degree of client satisfaction, and on the level of skills demonstrated in performing the job.Client Perspective: Develops and maintains a positive, proactive, and productive working relationships with client contacts.Actively researches client marketplace and distributes insights to account group.Develops complete project conference and status reports per agency guidelines.Monitors quality control to ensure that all agency deliverables are “client-ready” before distribution (e.g., proofread, spec’d correctly, etc.).Takes assignments readily.Earns and keeps clients’ respect and confidence, as someone they can trust to communicate information and relay ideas to.Develops a knowledge of and is conversant in each client’s business—business model basics, key issues and competitive situations.Committed to doing whatever is required to get the job done right and with enthusiasm.Anticipates and proactively make managers aware of any and all expectation issues.Internal Perspective: Proactively works with traffic, production and creative teams to optimize agency departments and effectively monitors the work of those departments against agreed upon timetables.Communicates effectively with all assigned agency account team members, inclusive of client business updates, marketplace shifts, marketing communications goals and objectives, and current/pending projects.Consistently demonstrates project leadership—prepared, proactive, thorough, and accurate.Effectively incorporate senior Account Management staff as project objectives or issues warrant.Financial Perspective: Proactively works with traffic, production and creative teams to optimize agency productivity.Recognizes when it is fiscally responsible and irresponsible to utilize agency resources.Handles work flow on assigned projects so that no agency-caused project due-date extensions or revisions are required.Aggressively monitors agency time reports and fee analysis and works with team to achieve proper time utilization.Thorough understanding of the financial terms of all assigned account relationships.Submits proposed program and estimated budget to client for approval.Provide effective and efficient use of agency resources and processes to ensure projects are delivered as promised in terms of content, time, and budget.Accurately managing client-directed budgets and delivering appropriate levels of service for that budget.Proactively monitoring any “scope creep” of retainer fees or project estimates and making adjustments (fee analysis, revised estimates, etc.) as necessary.Learning/Education Perspective: Proactive learning and expansion of Workamajig software system.Proactive learning of agency SOPs.Works to organize thoughts in a logical, clear and concise manner.Maintains and continually improves personal knowledge base.Proactive reading of industry and client-related publications.Displayed willingness to embrace research and competitive information opportunities.Displayed interest in learning new technologies and techniques.Requirements5+ years of agency or allied communications industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, public relations, research, social, digital, agency finance, etc.5+ years experience within the marketing industry, including agency experience in casino gaming, retail, activation, consumer packaged goods, franchise marketing, and/or food & beverage.Casino gaming marketing experience a must.A conceptual understanding of marketing, branding, strategy and planning are required.Bachelor’s DegreeWilling to regularly travel to west coast clients as needed including Las Vegas and CaliforniaSelf-starter and self-motivated, with the ability to provide solutions without supervisionAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyEnthusiastic with excellent verbal and written communication skillsMac literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote)Thrives in a collaborative,
