Internal Medicine Physician needed in Columbus, IN (Permanent)45 minutes to Indianapolis, INPosition Highlights:Schedule: Full-time, 4.5-5 days/week preferredRequirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Open to IM/Peds if they are okay seeing only adults 18+)Visa Support: H1B (not a J1 waiver visa qualifying location)About the Position:Practice Overview: Well-established practice with over 20 years of service, centrally located in Columbus, IN.20 patient rooms in a new building from 2014EMR: EPIC CRH/PracticeOn-site ancillary services include a Quality Care Nurse/RN Lab (draws only)Support Staff: Each physician has their own CMA and additional support from office managers and MAs.Patient Population and Volume:Average number of patients per day per physician ranges from 14-24.The practice does not require inpatient rounding as they partner with Hospital Care Physicians for inpatient care at CRH.Office Hours & Call Schedule:Practice Operating Hours: Monday Friday, 8 am 5 pmCall Schedule: On-call 1 week every 5th week (continuous rotation). Call duties include taking calls after clinic hours and during the day to cover for other doctors.Compensation and Benefits:Guaranteed Compensation: $260,000/year for the first two years plus a $100,000 recruitment incentive tied to a 5-year commitmentPotential Earnings: After the guarantee period, the base salary is $205,000/year with additional production incentives and value-based incentives.Benefits Package: Includes health, life, dental, vision, and legal insurance; retirement options including 403(b), 457(b), 401(a); and paid malpractice.Paid Time Off: Accrual model for vacation, sick days, CME time, bereavement, holidays, and other practice closures.
