New Challenges, Inc. provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses & traumatic brain injuries in residential adult foster care settings in the southeast metro area. NCI is currently hiring for full-time Program Coordinator at our sites located Woodbury. Available shift are:
Mon/Wed 8am-4pm & Tue/Thu/Fri 2pm-10pm
Coordinator applicants must have the ability to be active with those served, de-escalate and re-direct in difficult situations. Duties as a Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to;
assistance with independent living skills
ADL's
transportation
medication administration
report writing
team meetings
handling emergency situations
daily management of the location
staff training
staff supervision
annual licensing reviews prep
activities
Qualifications needed include; 1 year of management experience, 2 years of experience in the field and an associates degree in the human services field or 4 years of experience in the human services field or education field working with vulnerable adults children. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to problem solve and multi-task are also required.
All applicants must have a valid driver's license, have a high school diploma, a vehicle to use while on duty, pass standards for driving history and meet criteria for a DHS background study. Experience as a nursing assistant (CNA), personal care attendant (PCA) or home health aide (HHA) are encouraged to submit resumes.
