Property Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple properties and ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations. Duties: - Manage the daily operations of multiple properties, including but not limited to, overseeing property maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that all properties are safe and secure. - Respond to all inquiries and concerns from tenants, owners, and potential renters in a professional and courteous manner. - Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify any maintenance or repair issues and implement a plan to address them promptly. - Review and process all lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations. - Utilize property management software to track and manage tenant information, maintenance requests, property data, etc - Develop and maintain a strong customer relationship with both tenants and owners, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. - Oversee the leasing process, including conducting property tours, qualifying leads, negotiating lease agreements with potential renters, submitting RFTAs if applicable, etc. - Ensure that all properties are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to property maintenance and lease agreements. - Ensuring rents are posted by due dates. Follow ups and posting notices to tenants when applicable. Filing eviction documentation and attending court hearings when necessary. - Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, processing paperwork as needed Requirements: - At least 2 years of experience in property management, preferably with experience in customer relationship management and property leasing. - Strong knowledge of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. - Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi or OneSite, and the ability to learn new software quickly. - Experience with customer service and the ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and courteous manner. - Knowledge of Affordable Housing requirements a PLUS! - Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
