Electrical Assembler (2nd Shift)

Job Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:The Electrical Assembler is responsible for the electrical or mechanical assemblies involved with the manufacture of pump stations and other systems. Interprets of electrical and mechanical CAD drawings. Assists with process improvements in the pump station and other system manufacturing process. Works to a timeline on multiple projects / orders simultaneously. Typically requires 5+ years of experience.Key responsibilities may include:Actively participating within a team of manufacturing personnel, contributing to the goal of meeting sub-assembly component, & production deadlinesWork autonomously or as a team member to build mechanical and/or electrical sub-assemblies and enclosures Procure and maintain necessary supplies to support production activitiesLoading PLC and touch screen control softwareIdentify and implement manufacturing process improvements for quality, delivery performance, and throughputTroubleshoot and correct mechanical and electrical malfunctions as neededManage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and in a timely mannerAssist in developing manufacturing procedures and productivity reports as defined by the Production ManagerProvide leadership, direction, and quality inspection for other assemblersWork with and communicate with Production, Engineering, & Purchasing personnel on a daily basis with regards to scheduling, data, issues, and inventory.Minimum Qualifications:Basic knowledge and functional understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles and conceptsWillingness to perform hands-on production line assembly activityAbility to interpret basic electrical schematics and mechanical blueprintsProficiency in the use of hand tools and measurement equipment, including calipers, tape measures, levels, compound squares, digital multimeter, torque wrenchesProficiency in the use of power tools - jig saw, horizontal band saw, belt sander, drill, drill press, chop saw, grinderExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacy with working knowledge of Windows, Excel and WordAbility to multi-task and think "Outside The Box"High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Company DescriptionWe're not just a staffing company - we're a people company.
