As a Claims Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in managing and adjudicating claims, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service.Job Description:In this role, you will be responsible for:Receiving claim assignments and confirming policy coverages.Interpreting and making decisions on claims of moderate difficulty.Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and adjudicating first and third-party claims.Analyzing claims activity and preparing reports for clients and management.Establishing reserves and authorizing payments within your scope of authority.Developing subrogation and third-party recovery potential.Participating in claim reviews and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.1-3 years of experience in claims or a similar organization.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information.Preferences:Comprehensive claims investigations and settling experience.Effective interpersonal skills for dealing with external sources and all levels of employees.Ready to make a difference in a supportive and collaborative team?
