Bond Health - Speech Therapists Needed – Working with ChildrenCompetitive Weekly PaySummaryUnder general direction, the Speech Therapist is responsible for providing speech and language assessments and therapy services to students in accordance with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), Individualized Education Plan (IEP), or Interim Individualized Education Plan. The role includes collaboration with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members.Key Responsibilities· Provide speech and language assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and developmental levels· Analyze test results and prepare written summaries for Early Intervention, CPSE, CSE, and related agencies· Plan and conduct speech and language interventions aligned with established goals· Implement testing procedures to evaluate and monitor student progress· Prepare and submit required written reports and documentation· Assess oral motor development and feeding-related abilities· Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified needs· Remain current with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) techniques· Implement and support appropriate use of AAC devices and assistive technology· Maintain attendance records and progress notes· Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and team members· Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and case conferences· Ensure services are consistent with educational goals and regulatory requirements· Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner· Provide supervision to students and CFYs as assignedQualifications· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English· Strong interpersonal and communication skills· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality· Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities· Strong organizational and time management skills· Comfortable using computers and electronic devices· Knowledge of Assistive Technology, AAC, PECS, and manual language preferredEducation & ExperienceMaster's Degree in Speech and Language PathologyOne year of prior Speech Therapy experience preferredLicense / Certification Requirements· Current New York State License in Speech and Language Pathology· ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) required· NYSED Certification as a TSHH or TSSLD requiredFor More Information or to Schedule an InterviewYanet HaileAccount Manager, Bond Health Staffing5824 12th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11219Phone: 718-302-0040 ext. 2045Fax: 718-302-0070Email:
