Ophthalmology Physician

A growing, physician-led ophthalmology practice is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Retina Surgeon to join a collaborative, high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced vitreoretinal care in a supportive outpatient and ASC setting with strong earning potential and work-life balance. Position Overview The Retina Surgeon will diagnose and treat diseases of the retina and vitreous, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, and retinal detachment. You ll work alongside experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, and skilled clinical staff utilizing advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage retinal and vitreous disordersPerform vitreoretinal surgeriesConduct in-office laser proceduresAdminister intravitreal injectionsInterpret OCT, fluorescein angiography, fundus photography, and ocular ultrasoundDevelop individualized treatment plansEducate patients and families on care and recoveryMaintain accurate and compliant medical documentationStay current with advancements in retinal care Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institutionBoard Certified or Board Eligible in OphthalmologyCompletion of Retina/Vitreoretinal Surgery FellowshipActive, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility)Strong surgical and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and patient-care focus Compensation & Benefits $400,000+ Base SalaryProductivity incentivesComprehensive Health, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with employer contributionPaid Time Off & HolidaysCME allowance + paid CME timeMalpractice coverage providedSupportive, collaborative clinical environment Schedule Monday FridayFull-TimeStandard 8-hour shiftsNo weekends (unless part of light call rotation) Practice Setting Outpatient Ophthalmology ClinicAmbulatory Surgery Center
