Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Overview:
Do you excel at coordinating end-to-end recruiting in a fast-paced environment, working with ATS/HRIS platforms, and partnering with hiring managers and candidates—while comfortably traveling up to 30% during peak hiring seasons?
MBP is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our full recruitment lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with ATS/HRIS platforms, recruiting coordination, and sourcing support, including experience staffing technical roles.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
Support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and the recruitment team. Manage and leverage applicant-tracking and recruiting systems to drive efficient processes and timely reporting. Partner with hiring managers to align recruiting priorities with business needs and facilitate a smooth onboarding experience. Coordinate across teams to maintain accurate records and support compliance and Affirmative Action reporting. Provide guidance to promote a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Responsibilities include:
Coordinate the full recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing support, initial candidate assessments, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Support recruiting activities such as career fairs, industry events, and sourcing campaigns
Facilitate pre-employment processes, including credential verification, background checks, reference checks, and offer coordination
Maintain accurate, timely records in recruiting spreadsheets, ATS, and HRIS to support compliance, reporting, and Affirmative Action requirements
Prepare and manage recruitment-related correspondence, documentation, and onboarding materials
Provide high-touch support to candidates and hiring teams to promote an excellent experience throughout the hiring process
Coordinate recruitment projects and related services for supervisors, hiring managers, recruiting team members, and other stakeholders
Escalate employee relations matters and potential issues to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Retention
Maintain confidentiality of all personnel information
Travel up to 30% with peak hiring in spring and early summer
Collaborate with supervisors, hiring managers, recruiting team members, and business partners to align recruitment needs and priorities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Who We Are Looking For
Experience:
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS databases, and candidate sourcing tools
Professional experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or organizational effectiveness
Experience recruiting or supporting staffing for technical roles such as Engineers, Construction Inspectors, Project Managers, and Consultants
Experience assisting with employee engagement or retention initiatives within a fast-paced environment
Education/Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
Employment law and recruitment laws preferred
Familiarity with Construction Management, Engineering, or A/E/C industry terminology is a plus
Preferred Certifications:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification desired

Guidance/Responsibility:
Individual contributor accountable for coordinating recruitment processes and related services
Works independently within established guidelines and exercises sound judgment in day-to-day decisions
Reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Retention

Supervisory:
Performs as an individual contributor with no direct reports

Provides coordination and support to hiring managers, recruitment team members, and business partners without direct supervisory authority
