They will be a self starter who has experience with electro-mechanical, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Successful candidates will be talented individuals who are lifelong learners and fantastic problem solvers. The right member of our team will have not only technical aptitude, but also be someone with exemplary customer service to make sure every guest leaves happy.What will you be doing?Supervise Maintenance Techs to ensure assigned tasks are effectively addressedMeet regularly with staff to provide supervision and ensure open communicationEnsure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agenciesProvide continuous training and development of the tech and maintenance teamDetermine schedules for maintenance staff to ensure appropriate coverage and to expedite work.Oversee, clean, and be responsible for multiple attractions including Coasters, Virtual Reality Systems, Laser Tag, Simulators, and more.Order all parts following budgetsAssist techs on major escalated issuesWork with senior leaders to develop training programsAssist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipmentEnsures daily preventative maintenance and repairs are completedMaintain PM logs for all attractions and keep them up to dateResponsible for all building maintenance and contractors needed to repairMaintain a safety-focused attitude at all timesAssist with documenting fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirementsEnsure implementation of corrective action needed as a result of internal or external safety inspectionsInspect storage rooms, work rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply controlFollow all processes involving maintenance including but not limited to safety and OSHA, maintenance procedures, logging, and reportingAssist with parts/tools inventory and purchasing for storesMaintaining payout structure at all locations (25%) as well as assist troubleshooting with Embed and Center Edge POS systemEnsure that maintenance personnel always follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and suppliesEnsure that all personnel wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objectsEnsure that supplies, equipment, etc., are maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environmentAssist with obtaining/maintaining material safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals in the maintenance departmentEnsure that containers of hazardous chemicals in the department are properly labeled and storedPerform other duties as assignedFamiliar with Embed system and Center Edge POS software a plus Education:High school or equivalent education required Qualifications: Must be 21 years or olderMust have, as minimum, one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance related position.Requirements: Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance standardsHighly organized and strong work ethicMust be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shiftsFive Star Park & Attractions is an equal opportunity employer.
