Machine Operator *D&W, Inc. is a family-owned company that values its employees and the important role they play in our success. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team in our mirror/glass division!* Position Overview Join our manufacturing team and become an important part of producing high-quality products safely and efficiently. As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products are manufactured according to quality and production standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* * Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and specifications. * Operate equipment that may include CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, flexographic presses, and other production machinery. * Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, technical drawings, and other production documentation. * Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify product dimensions and quality. * Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel. * Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process and identify defects or deviations from specifications. * Make basic machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to support production requirements. * Safely handle raw materials and finished products. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Follow all company safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery safeguards, and hand tools. * Assist with assembly, packaging, material handling, and other production activities as needed. * Meet production, quality, and efficiency expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications and Experience* * Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, factory, or machine operation environment is preferred. * Experience operating CNC or other manufacturing equipment is a plus. * Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and follow technical instructions. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. * Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferred. * CNC troubleshooting and programmable logic controller (PLC) experience are a plus. * Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements and calculations. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills. * Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures. *Why Join D&W, Inc.* At D&W, Inc., we value our employees and believe in creating opportunities for growth and success.
